On December 17th, Rick Lacey, coordinator of the Community Food Pantry of Washington, accepted a donation of $3,625 from Marilyn VanDyke, campaign chair for the Hawk Pointe Holiday Card Donation Program.

Since the program's inception in 2005, in lieu of sending holiday cards to their neighbors, the residents of Hawk Pointe have contributed over $29,898 to various local charities.

Representing this year's 66 program participants are, front, from left: Fran Pasch and Linda Rossi; Rick Lacey, of the Community Food Bank; Marilyn VanDyke and Flo Ochsenfeld. Back: James Genaro, Elaine Deja, Linda Genaro, Ruth Pfluger, George VanDyke and George Willan.
